Calcudoku (KenKen-style) puzzles run from 3 × 3 addition to 6 × 6 with all four operations, plus a Daily Calcudoku. See the full list of games, or read our guide for teachers and parents.
How the games help
Each number-fact game practises one skill, such as the 7 times table or subtracting within 20. A round lasts a minute, short enough to fit between homework questions. When you get a question wrong, you see the right answer, and the question comes back a few turns later. At the end, you get a list of the facts to practise again.
The Sudoku puzzles build logical reasoning. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and the Easy and Medium puzzles can always be solved without guessing. Calcudoku adds arithmetic to the logic: every clue is a number fact in reverse, and every puzzle can be solved without guessing.
