    What is the Daily 24?

    The Daily 24 is a set of three 24 Game puzzles that changes every day: one Easy, one Medium and one Hard. Everyone gets the same three puzzles, so you can compare times with friends or a class.

    The timer runs across all three puzzles and stops when you finish the last one. A new set starts at midnight UTC. For unlimited puzzles at one level, play the 24 Game.

    How to play Daily 24 Game

    1. You get four numbers. Use every one of them exactly once, with +, −, × and ÷, to make 24.
    2. Tap a number, then an operation, then a second number. The two cards are replaced by the answer: tap 8, ×, 3 and they become 24.
    3. Keep combining cards until only one is left. If it’s 24, you’ve solved the puzzle. Answers can be fractions or negative numbers along the way.
    4. Undo takes back one step and Reset starts the puzzle again. Hint plays the next step of an answer for you.
    5. On a keyboard, press 1 to 4 to pick the cards in order, + − * / for the operations, and Backspace to undo.
    6. Solve all three puzzles to finish. The next one appears as soon as you make 24, and your total time is shown at the end.

    Tips for the Daily 24

    Start with the biggest numbers. Can two of them make 24, 12, 8 or 6 on their own? Then see whether the other two can make the 1, 2, 3 or 4 you need.

    Don’t forget subtraction and division make small numbers: 9 − 7 = 2 and 8 ÷ 4 = 2 can be just what a factor pair needs.

    The Hard puzzle may need a fraction. If whole numbers aren’t working after a minute, try dividing first.
