What is the 9 times table?
The 9 times table is the list of answers you get by multiplying 9 by 1, 2, 3 and so on up to 12: 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90, 99, 108. Each answer is 9 more than the one before, so it’s the same as counting in 9s.
Every fact also works backwards: 9 × 7 = 63, so 63 ÷ 9 = 7. Once the table is quick, practise those facts in divide by 9. After that, move on to the 10 times table, or mix every table together in mixed times tables.
