What is the 7 times table?

The 7 times table is the list of answers you get by multiplying 7 by 1, 2, 3 and so on up to 12: 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 70, 77, 84. Each answer is 7 more than the one before, so it’s the same as counting in 7s.

Every fact also works backwards: 7 × 6 = 42, so 42 ÷ 7 = 6. Once the table is quick, practise those facts in divide by 7. After that, move on to the 8 times table, or mix every table together in mixed times tables.
