Adding 0 and 1 Games Online Free
Add 0 or 1 to a number up to 20. Adding 0 keeps the number the same, and adding 1 gives the next number.
Type answers on your keyboard, or tap the number pad.
Practise these again:
What happens when you add 0 or 1?
Adding 0 doesn’t change a number: 8 + 0 = 8 and 0 + 15 = 15. Adding 1 gives the next number when you count: 8 + 1 = 9 and 1 + 15 = 16.
These are the easiest addition facts, and they cover a lot of the addition table. When they’re quick, try adding 1, 2 or 3 with counting on.

Tips for adding 0 and 1
Zero means nothing is added, so the answer is the number you started with.
For + 1, just say the next number. You don’t need to count from the start.
The order doesn’t matter: 1 + 12 is the same as 12 + 1.

Why practise such easy facts?
Young children often count every time, even for 9 + 1. Practising plus zero and plus one until they’re instant builds confidence and shows that some facts need no counting at all.
