What is repeated addition?
Repeated addition means adding the same number several times: 4 + 4 + 4 = 12. It’s how children first understand multiplication, because 4 + 4 + 4 is three lots of 4, or 3 × 4.
When a wrong answer comes up, the game shows the multiplication too, so children see the link. Once it clicks, skip counting is the next step.

Tips for repeated addition
Count how many times the number appears. That’s the number of groups.
Add in steps and keep a running total: 6 + 6 + 6 → 12 → 18.
If you know a times table, use it: 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 is 4 × 5 = 20.
